Over three days this April a brand new legaltech and innovation festival in the Bristol city region will be exploring and celebrating the game-changing impact of technology on the practice and business of law.

Located at the heart of one of the largest and most dynamic legaltech clusters, the West of England welcomes participants, speakers, academics and industry leaders from across the region, the country and beyond.  The WE R LegalTech (a tag which refers back to our roots in the West of England Region LegalTech community) 2024 Festival runs 16^th to 18^th April 2024 and features a diverse and unique programme of events across multiple great venues in the region.  Created and curated by Bristol+BathLegalTech (BBLT), the festival is the latest and by far the biggest in a string of events and activities the group has been running since 2018.

Our kick-off, anchor event of the festival is a one-day Conference on 16^th April focused on examining the impact and implications of legaltech for the law, legal industry and wider society and economy.  We’ve called it ‘Right around the corner: how – and how fast – will legaltech change the legal world’.  The day’s programme will appeal to anyone with a passion for and interest in how the legal world is changing as a result of technological advances and the whole spectrum of implications we need to face up to as a result; law firm leaders, partners and senior lawyers, in-house lawyers, technologists and legal innovators in firms, entrepreneurs and legaltech start-ups, established tech companies, academics and more.  We believe that, amidst a slew of other legal technology events and posts, our programme’s focus and intent is unique.  Which is exactly how we like it!

Based on delegate numbers at our recent events, we expect tickets to sell very quickly so don’t delay.  The many other festival events, running on 17^th and 18^th April will be announced towards the end of February and many of them will be free to attend, although with limited capacity in some cases.
